The epitaph over Lenin's tomb reads "He was the greatest leader of all peoples, of all countries, of all times.  He was lord of the new humanity.  He was the savior of the world."  Yet, Lenin's body lies dead in his casket for all the world to see.  If Lenin is a savior, then he is a dead one!  The Resurrection of Jesus Christ--the fact that He rose again from the dead--is the chief doctrine of the Christian faith.  Without it, everything else falls apart.  It is the one doctrine that separates Christianity from all other world religions.  It is so important in fact, that Paul said that without it, our faith is "vain."
